Day 1 TUESDAY, 16th 2018 – (ARRIVAL) Upon arrival, welcome at Siem Reap airport by your driver (WITHOUT GUIDE) and check-in at the hotel. Note: Rooms are available from 2pm. Dinner at your leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2 WEDNESDAY, 17th 2018 – SIEM REAP (B/L) After breakfast, visit the ancient capital of , a huge architectural complex with the famous Temple at its center. This mountain-temple was once surrounded by 54 towers. On each of the 37 remaining, 4 enigmatic faces can still be recognized. Then, explore , which was fully restored by a team of French archaeologists after 16 years of work. Lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit (early-mid 12th century) dedicated to the Hindu god . This magnificent temple-mountain, built by King Suryavarman II is considered as the masterpiece of the Khmer architecture and art. Late in the afternoon, visit a local artist's studio. The day ends with a surprising circus show combining creativity, energy and originality, all acquired from the Khmer culture. Dinner at your leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Angkor, ancient capital of the Khmer Empire Its mystery lies in these ancient ruins now classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Originally Hindu, the various ruins became gradually Buddhists and were long lost in the tropical jungle. Today, the site impresses majesty and grace on its buildings, and a walk through Angkor is a unique opportunity to go back in time.

Day 3 THURSDAY, 18th 2018 – SIEM REAP (B/L) After breakfast, drive to Kbal Spean, the “River of a Thousand Lingas”, located about 50 km north of Siem Reap. Upon arrival, walk through the forest (45 minutes) and explore the river where the bedrocks are engraved with Apsaras and countless symbols of the god . It was believed that the linga fertilized the water that irrigated the rice fields underneath. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, drive through the famous Bantey Srey Temple the “Citadel of Women”. This small pink sandstone temple (late 10th century) is considered to be a jewel in the crown of classical Khmer art because of its delicate carvings. Then, return back to Siem Reap through the Cambodian countryside, followed by the visit of the marvelously restored Bantey Samre Temple. Dinner at your leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 4 FRIDAY, 19th 2018 – SIEM REAP (B/L) After breakfast, visit the twin temples of Chau Say and Tevoda, the unfinished temple-mountain of , the holy water basin of , and the monastery. Finally, discover the fascinating Ta Phrom Temple, which has been left in much the same condition as it was found – the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have probably made it one of the most famous monuments with Angkor Wat and the Bayon. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, pick-up the official T-shirt with number. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner at your leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 7 MONDAY, 22nd 2018 –SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH (B) After breakfast, depending on the flight schedule, transfer to the airport by the driver (WITHOUT GUIDE) for the departure flight to Phnom Penh.

Upon arrival, welcome at Phnom Penh airport by your driver (WITHOUT GUIDE) and check-in at the hotel. Note: Rooms are available from 2pm. Dinner at your leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 8 TUESDAY, 23rd 2018 – PHNOM PENH (B/L) After breakfast, depart for a first discovery of the Cambodian capital including the National Museum and its collection of pre-angkorian and Angkorian Khmer art masterpieces. Visit the Royal Palace, current residence of His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, and the famous Silver Pagoda. It dominates the city by its impressive architecture and the remarkable golden Khmer classical ornament. Lunch at local restaurant. Then walk towards Vat Phnom, the oldest sacred shrine in the city to which he has also given its name. Transfer and visit Tuol Sleng Museum, a former High School in Phnom Penh which was transformed into a Torture Prison during the reign of the Khmer Rouge, where 17,000 people were imprisoned and only 7 have survived. Men, woman and even children were imprisoned, tortured, starved and killed by loading then into trucks like cattle and taken to the Killing Fields on the outskirts of town and were killed with a bludgeon blow to the back of the head. Finally, if time permits, stroll through the bustling Central Market, famous for its Art-Deco architecture and at the Russian market Dinner at your leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 9 WEDNESDAY, 24th 2018 – PHNOM PENH (DEPARTURE) (B) After breakfast, the morning is at leisure in Phnom Penh. Depending on the flight schedule, transfer to the airport by your driver (WITHOUT GUIDE) for the departure flight. Note: Rooms shall be released by 12pm (noon).
