OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUNDS:
Official practice days free of charge are, 1 & 2 March. Practice times must be requested to RCG El Prat (RCG El Prat: [email protected]), once the list of participants has been published.
ENTRIES: Entries must be submitted ONLINE http://www.rfegolf.es by 23:59 hours, 3th February, 2021 Entries failing this condition will not be accepted.
For Spanish Players, the official exact handicap to make the list of accepted players will be listed in the database of the RFEG at 10:00 a.m. the day after the closing date. For Foreign Players, the official exact handicap used for all purposes will be the certified handicap at date of entry for their National Golf Federation, Union or Association.
Players should select the competition, click on “entries online”
After that, the player must click on the box: “I am a foreign player” and fills player’s details required for the competition.
You can also require your federation to submit your entry form on your behalf. Players are responsible to check if her entry form is accepted. Any claims must be submitted within the next 24 hours after the list of participants is published.

The list of accepted players and the waiting list (if any) will be published at the web site of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation (www.rfegolf.es) from the day after the closing date.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PARTICIPANTS:
The championship will take place under the security measures against COVID19. (Official Competitions Guidelines).
Among these measures, the use of the VIRTUAL RESULT CARD (*) will be sent to each participant through a link from which they will have access to their game cards throughout the tournament. The sending of said unique link, which each participant must keep private, will be made by SMS to the mobile phone number indicated in the online registration, the day before the first day of competition and will serve to enter their results and those of the player who goes to mark.
The player must ensure that both his mobile phone number and his email address - which appear on the online registration screen - are up to date.
Players are recommended to enter the results hole by hole and make sure they have their mobile fully charged at the beginning of each day, keep it muted at all times and in airplane mode while no data is entered.
(*) Telematic cards should be used preferably, although disinfected scorecards will be available for those players who exceptionally need them.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS:
Due to the Covid-19 situation, the RFEG is forced to adjust the field. (See Conditions: Pages 7 and 8)
WITHDRAWALS:
According to the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, if any registered player cannot participate for any reason, they must notify it by phone (915 552 682) or in writing to the email of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation: [email protected], before 12:00 hours the day before the start of the Championship. Whoever fails to comply with this requirement will not be able to take part in the next edition of this test. In addition, you will be obliged to pay the registration fee and, if you do not do so, you will not be able to register in any test of the Federation until you pay off your debt.
CONDITIONS: The Championship Conditions is enclosed with this information. (Exact handicap limit: 1.4) Tee boxes: from the black / white bars or from those stipulated by the Committee.
Caddies are not allowed in order to safeguard the health of the players.
ENTRY FEES: Entry fees should be paid upon arrival at the Golf Club.
● Entry Fee: 100, 00 per player € (This fee includes the temporary license required by the RFEG Statutes and the insurance attached to the license, subscribed by the Regional Federation where the competition takes place).

REGISTER OF PLAYERS:
The register of players and the pay of the entry fee will be made in the golf club jointly, within the time and place established by the Championship Committee. Players must register before 18:00 hours on the day before the Championship. Place may be forfeited by a competitor from whom no word has been received by the above date.
ACCREDITATIONS:
In addition to registering with the club, the RFEG will require each participant and a single companion, as well as the technicians and organization personnel, to obtain an accreditation. To do this, they must present themselves at the TOURNAMENT OFFICE, before 12:00 hours on the eve of the Championship, to deliver to the Competition Committee the Declaration and Personal Location Form that appears on the following sheets, duly completed in all its sections and signed . Whoever fails to comply with this requirement will not be able to participate.

That I have read the security protocols and the information and prevention measures for hygiene and security of COVID-19 established by the organizer of the competition and the meeting and I agree to comply with them in a responsible manner, in their entirety, with the guidelines of conduct and behavior that are established there, accepting that the Hygiene Manager of the event can agree on his own accord my exclusion from the competition and from the installation or limited area of the sports space in case of non-compliance. 5. That I am aware and accept that non-compliance with the rules of COVID-19 especially the non-declaration of having tested positive or not having declared the fact of having had a close relationship with people with symptoms implies a very serious infraction of the disciplinary code that can lead to a sanction of exclusion from the competition and the loss of the sports license for the entire season. 6. That I promise to inform the club and the Federation (before any match) of any symptoms that are compatible with COVID-19, the fact of having tested positive or the existence of any presumed or confirmed case of covid-19 in the family or close environment and I promise to keep the club managers promptly informed of their evolution.
This information will be treated confidentially and for the sole purpose of being able to adopt the necessary measures to prevent the contagion and spread of the virus. By completing this document, the undersigned grants express consent for the Spanish Golf Federation to process these data from a strictly medical point of view and prevention.

CONDITIONS
CONDITIONS:
Any amateur player in possession of a National Federation or Union Membership Card, with an exact handicap of 1.4 or better, is eligible to enter. The exact handicap certified at the date of entry will be used for all purposes. There will be no handicap limit for past Spanish Amateur Champions.
An entry will be accepted from any player who has been R&A WAGRanked 1-1500 (see www.randa.org/wagr) at the closing date of entries.
All entries will be subject to the approval of the Championship Committee which reserves the right to accept or refuse, or having accepted, subsequently reject any entry without giving reason for its decision.
The starting field will comprise (i) 75 competitors from condition 1 & 2 below and (ii) 15 under conditions 3 & 4:
1. Any entrant in at least one of the following categories will be allocated a place in the starting field:
(a) The current (British) Amateur, US Amateur, European Amateur and Spanish Amateur Champions. (b) Playing members of the five leading teams and ties in the last edition of the Eisenhower Trophy. (c) Team members making the semi-finals in the last edition of the European Men’s Team Championship. (d) The current European Boys Team Champions. (e) Team members who participated in the last edition of the St Andrews Trophy, the Jacques Leglise Trophy and the Michael Bonallack Trophy. (f) The leading 8 players and ties in the last playing of the Spanish Amateur Close Championship. (g) The leading 4 players and ties in the last playing of the Spanish Under 18 Close Championship. (h) The leading 2 players and ties in the last playing of the Spanish Under 16 Close Championship. (i) The leading 8 players and ties in the last completed Spanish Amateur Order of Merit. (j) The leading 4 players and ties in the last completed Spanish Under 18 Order of Merit.
2. Having applied Condition 1, the remainder of the 75 will comprise (a) entrants in order of WAG Ranking (1-1500 at the closing date for entries) and, if still incomplete, (b) entrants using exact handicaps.
3. 10 players of Spanish nationality not included in groups 1 and 2 (a) in order of WAG Ranking (1-2000 at the closing date for entries) and (b) by exact handicap order.
4. 5 players invited by the Amateur Technical Committee of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation.
Unsuccessful entrants will be informed immediately after the Closing Date and will be placed on a Reserve List and given the opportunity to compete if there are subsequent withdrawals. This waiting list will be closed on Friday, at 14:00 hrs prior to the start of the championship.
If, for any reason, a competitor is unable to participate, he must communicate this to either the Championship Committee at the Club or to the Amateur Technical Committee of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation before 2 March 2021. Any player who fails to follow this procedure risks having his entry refused for future Championships.
Competitors must register at the Tournament Office before 16:00 hours on the 2 March 2021. Place may be forfeited by a competitor from whom no word has been received by the above date.

36 holes qualifying of 18 holes Stroke Play on Days 1 & 2.
After the first 36 holes Stroke Play, the first 32 players will qualify to play for the Match Play stage.
Ties for every spot will be decided by the last 18, 27, 30, 33, 34, 35 holes.
5 to 7 March 2021:
The Match Play stage will be played over 18 holes in the morning and 18 holes in the afternoon, each day. The Final will be played on 7 March over 36 holes. If a match is all square after 18 holes, or 36 holes in the Final, the players will continue to play until a player wins a hole, when the match will be considered won.
ENTRIES:
Entries should be submitted ONLINE (www.rfegolf.es). The register of players and the payment of the entry fee will be made jointly at the Clubhouse on 1 & 2 March 2021.
PRIZES:
The trophy Copa S.M. El Rey remains in the property of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation. Each year, the name of the winner, date, and name of the club where the championship has taken place will be engraved on the trophy.
The winner and the runner-up will receive replicas of the trophy provided by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation.
Those players reaching the semi-finals will receive cups as well as the winner of the Nations Cup.
THE CHAMPIONSHIP COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AMEND THE RULES OR CONDITIONS, SHOULD THIS BE DEEMED NECESSARY
NATIONS CUP:
The Nations Cup will be played simultaneously with the 36 holes Stroke Play by National Teams of two or three players.
Each National Federation or Golfing Union may enter a maximum of three teams.
The two best scores of each day will count.
In case of a tie, the two scores not previously counted, will be taken into account and the team with the lowest individual score will be proclaimed the winner.
