The student must register first and then fill in the Mobility tab the erasmus form. The student must complete the online form and attach all required documents, including the LA signed by the student and the home University.

Language Requirements Classes are taught in Portuguese. There may be some tutorial support in English. Therefore, B1 level of Portuguese is recommended. Students must do the Portuguese language course in the Erasmus+ OLS platform.

Portuguese Foreign Language Portuguese Languages classes, in the UAc, the courses are recommended and start on the first week of September in the first semester or in February for the second semester.

The ERO advises students to apply to accommodation in residence at the University, the students should submit their application online through the portal: http://servicosonline.uac.pt/doit/, then click on Alojamento/Accommodation and then choose the form Housing Information application. The residence has limited seating, so if you have no place, you should look for a place to live. It is very easy to find a shared apartment. You can stay in a hostel or hotel for the first few days, while looking for permanent accommodation. You can ask for help in the Academic Association of the University of the Azores. Safety and Health European Health Insurance Card, compulsory for all EU students (except Turkish). A private accident policy is recommended for non-European students. The UAc offers this service to all exchange students by paying a fee. Immigration Requirements EU students (except Turkish): identity card or Passport. Non-European and Turkish students must arrive with a student visa.
