Who Our 2018 Summer Associate class will be made up of 57 second-year summer associates representing 17 law schools.
What Real work! Arnold & Porter summer associates do real work. It ranges from commercial billable to business development to pro bono. Notable clients! Our summer associates often have the opportunity to work directly with partners and for some of our most-well known clients such as Adobe, Google, Hershey, Novartis, Pfizer, Samsung, Visa, Louis Vuitton, and David Yurman. Training! Our summer associates participate in a comprehensive training program throughout the summer, including a two-day Firmwide Training Forum that takes place in Washington, DC. Fun! Social events allow our summer associates to get to know our attorneys and their practices. Events have included a rooftop dinner at The Hay-Adams in Washington, DC, a Top Golf outing in Denver, a Bayou City Bike Tour in Houston, a Giants baseball game in San Francisco, a scavenger hunt in Los Angeles, and building your own Converse sneakers in New York.
