EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
918 students graduated from The University of Tulsa between August 2012 and May 2013. Of that total, responses were received from 884 students, representing a response rate of 96%. Of the 884 responders, 252 (29%) indicated that they were continuing their education and 32 (3%) indicated they would not be continuing education or seeking employment. This ultimately leaves 495 (56%) graduating students accepting employment and 105 (12%) graduating students still seeking employment three months after graduation.

Of the 884 responding graduates, 12% were still seeking employment, resulting in an 88% placement rate for undergraduate and graduate students for 2012-2013.
Of the 600 eligible for employment, 82% were employed and 18% were still seeking employment three months after graduation. This compares to the 2011-2012 report which indicated 87% were employed and 13% were still seeking. Accepted or Seeking Total Placement (n = 884) Employment (n=600)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY CONTINUED
Overall employer activity in 2012-2013 showed a 7% increase from 2011-2012. This includes the 860 employers posting jobs on the TU Career Services’ Golden OpporTUnities job board and the total 991 unique companies working with Career Services throughout the year as part of their recruiting and hiring efforts. In 2012-2013, 87 unique employers conducted on-campus interviews to fill 290 positions, compared to 69 employers for 249 positions in 2011-2012. This includes major companies such as Phillips66, Bank of Oklahoma, Schlumberger, ConocoPhillips, Baker Hughes, Williams, and many others.

For the past 5 academic school years, the University of Tulsa has maintained steady relationships with major companies both locally and nationally. 246 companies participated in the 2012-2013 recruiting process by attending at least one of five job fairs hosted by Career Services and/or conducting on-campus interviews. 2012-2013 included our most populated Business fair and Collegiate fair in Career Services history. TU also hosted triple digit employers at the Collegiate Job Fair for the second year in a row.

307 students graduated from August 2012 through May 2013. Of that total, information was collected from 297 students, representing a response rate of 97%. Of the 297 responders, 69 (23%) indicated that they were continuing their education and 10 (3%) indicated they would not be seeking employment or continuing education. Of the 297 responding graduates, 10% were still seeking employment, resulting in a 90% placement rate for Collins College of Business undergraduate and graduate students for 2012- 2013. 334 students graduated from August 2012 through May 2013. Of that total, information was collected from 322 students, representing a response rate of 96%.
