RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

IFREMER Addressing the technical and practical aspects of DNA barcoding and habitat mapping as a tools applicable for deep sea exploration. So, I had gained an experience on:

 DNA barcoding techniques of difficult samples.  R programming. Port Said University & HEPCA Resolving the genetic diversity of Symbiodinium associated with scleractinian corals along the Egyptian coast of the Red Sea and investigating the role of such diversity and its consequences on the thermal tolerance and growth performance of corals at the Egyptian coast of the Red Sea. So, I had gained an experience on:

 Molecular phylotyping techniques including DNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, PCR, RFLP, and DNA sequencing.  Bioinformatics.  Phylogenetic Analysis.  Underwater survey methods on marine invertebrates (With focus on coral reef ecosystem).  Phytoplankton and zooplankton qualitative and quantitative analysis.  Spectrophotometric analysis.  Experimental design.  Advanced statistical analysis.  Scientific writing.
