Study Group Presenters Announced for 2019 SCJ Conference

Dawn Gentry, Assistant Professor of Bible and Children’s Ministry at Nebraska Christian College, an Dean of the SCJ Study Groups, is pleased to announce that the 2019 SCJ, meeting April 5-6, at Johnson University , will feature fourteen study groups. One group, Life, Letters, and Legacy of Paul, convened by Jordan Stanley (Asbury Theological Seminary) and Gary Collier, is making its debut. Another group, Race and Religion, convened by James Gorman (Johnson University), is a special presentation for this year that focuses on responses to a new book by Richard Hughes. William Baker, editor of SCJ and director of the SCJ conference, announces twenty-seven parallel sessions for 2019.
