Med over 125 millioner solgte album, er en av de mestselgende artistene gjennom tidene tilbake med atter en utgivelse etter seks års ventetid. "Melody Road" slippes 21. oktober og er nummer 27 i releaserekken, inkludert blant annet samlealbum, livealbum og DVD'er, siden han startet sin profesjonelle musikalske karriere i 1966.

Den Grammy-vinnende legenden har vært innvilget i Rock and Roll hall of Fame og The Songrwriter Hall Of Fame, vunnet Golden Globe, og i 2011 mottok han den prestisjetunge Kennedy Centre Honor prisen for sitt bidrag for amerikansk kultur.

Neil Diamonds store gjennombrudd kom i 69’ med låten «Sweet Caroline» som på mange måter er en signatursang for Diamond. Har også levert ti #1 singler: «Cracklin’ Rosie»,«Song Sung Blue»,«Longfellow Serenade», «I’ve Been This Way Before»,«If You Know What I Mean», «Desire»,«You Don’t Bring Me Flowers feat. Long-Awaited First New Studio Album in Six Years;

Pre-orders Begin September 9th

(Los Angeles, CA – September 9, 2014) Neil Diamond, one of the world’s premiere recording artists, internationally renowned and record-breaking concert performer and revered songwriter, is set to release his brand new studio album, Melody Road, on October 21st. The album (full track listing below), marks his first original studio release in six years and first since signing with Capitol Records. Acclaimed producers Don Was and Jacknife Lee co-produced the album. In addition, there will be a special 36-page lyric book with guitar chords included in the packaging of the deluxe album.
