The Polytech Group, the group of French graduate schools of engineering The Polytech Group brings together 14 French universities sharing a unique model for their 14 engineering faculties under the supervision of the French Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation. All the Polytech faculties are public, and offer Master’s degrees accredited by the “Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur” (CTI) as French “Diplômes d’Ingénieur”.

Students are solidly prepared for their future professional challenges thanks to the support of top-quality research, with over 1,300 professors in contact daily with students and visits from experts active in all teaching fields.

With 12 different scientific fields, more than 70,000 alumni and 3,400 graduates per year, Polytech engineering faculties form one of the largest French teaching groups in engineering.

Bachelor Bachelor Bachelor Master Master 1 2 3 1 2 PhD Engineering degree Admission process for French speaking students French speaking students can apply directly (www.polytech-admission.org) with a foreign scientific diploma and obtain a French engineering degree (Master’s degree in engineering). Selected students follow courses with fellow French students. Depending on the country where applicants are studying, they may be required to follow the “Etudes en France” studies & visa application process. Admission process for non-french speaking students in Polytech partner universities Initiated by the AVOSTTI Project, the Polytech Group has developed a 2 phase programme allowing students to start scientific/technological studies and French learning in their country and then to follow their engineering studies in France in one of its 14 engineering faculties. Current active partners are located in China : Ocean University of China (OUC) of Qingdao, South China University of Technology (SCUT - Guangzhou), Xidian University of Xi’an, etc. Admission process for non-french speaking students from other universities Several Polytech engineering faculties have developed bridging program (n+i, Polytech Mundus) allowing non-French speaking students (with a scientific Bachelor’s level) to gain French fluency and thus follow French engineering studies. The programme consists in a first year of intensive courses in French language and French scientific culture (with a scientific/technology major such as mechanics, computer science, electronics…) and 2 years of engineering studies among fellow French students. Student Exchange Programmes for visiting students from partner universities Double degrees with partner institutions

“Etudes en France” and Campus France application and visa process Students living in one of the 41 countries CTI (Commission des Titres overseen by Campus France must apply d’Ingénieur) is an independent online through a procedure coupling body fully involved in the academic and visa application. Direct application for French-speaking engineering development of the European studies consists of an online application file Higher Education Area, (containing academics results, résumés etc.) established by the French law and an interview. Students from partner in 1934. universities or exchange students benefit from simplified procedures. WHY JOIN THE POLYTECH FACULTIES?

An enriching campus life

The group provides students with a dynamic and varied campus life. All Polytech faculties possess a student union, united under the Federation of polytech Group students (FEDERP). The FEDERP brings together all the group’s student associations, and plays an active role in nationwide events open to all of its students, such as Polytech-NightWork (an innovation competition sponsored by a company), the Polytech Omnisport Challenge and the Polytech Snow Cup.

Culture and sports

As engineering faculties, the 14 Polytech benefit from their universities’ infrastructure and access to their numerous sports and cultural facilities. Why study in France?

High-quality higher education: one of the best in the world and accessible to everyone The excellence of French higher education is renowned over the world. In France, higher education courses are backed by accredited research labs and the expertise of seasoned professionals: regardless of your chosen subject, you will always be in contact with eminent specialists.

Outward-facing higher education With the world’s fifth largest economy, France welcomes the third largest number of international students. French has always treated foreign students in the same manner as french students, with enrollment fees for national degrees fixed by the government and equal for everyone. Moreover, every student, regardless of his/her nationality, is entitled to the same social benefits (e.g. social security, housing assistance, etc.).

French way of life For the last 5 years, France has consistently ranked as one of the best countries to live in according to the International Living Association (1st place in 2010).

International students who enroll in French higher education are automatically registered for its outstanding health care system, rated as the best in the world by the WHO.

France also offers students a pleasant and comfortable environment to live in.
