Music City Star offers rides to Toast to Tennessee Wine Festival Train to run special service to event in Lebanon on Saturday, April 29

NASHVILLE – Wilson County Mayor and RTA Vice Chair Randall Hutto is partnering with the Regional Transportation Authority of Middle Tennessee (RTA) to provide attendees of A Toast to Tennessee Wine Festival with a safe and responsible way to travel to and from the event.

The excursion train to the Wine Festival is a collaborative effort between the RTA, the Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce, and Wilson County. The Nashville & Eastern Railroad Corp. will donate an additional $5 to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital for each ticket sold for both the Nashville Rock ‘n Roll Marathon and Toast to Tennessee Wine Festival trains.

The train will leave Riverfront Station in downtown Nashville at noon, unless the Nashville Rock n Roll Marathon experiences a rain delay. The train will stop at all stations en route to Lebanon as follows:

Train Schedule Riverfront Station – 12:00 p.m. Donelson Station – 12:11 p.m. Hermitage Station – 12:24 p.m. Mt. Juliet Station – 12:33 p.m. Martha Station – 12:43 p.m. Lebanon Station – 1:00 p.m.

Wilson County will provide transportation to those attending the festival by train from the Lebanon Station to the Wilson County Expo Center and back. The train will leave Lebanon Station at 5:30 p.m. and stop at all stations en route to Nashville. The train will arrive at Riverfront Station by 6:30 p.m.

Tickets cost $12 plus a $1 processing fee, and may be purchased with a credit card through the RTA website or at www.ticketsnashville.com. Tickets will be on sale until 24 hours prior to departure or until tickets are sold out, whichever comes first. Children age 4 and younger will not need a ticket to board; however, they are required to sit in a parent or guardian's lap. Anyone needing special accommodations to board should call (615) 862-5925 prior to their trip.
