Day 1: Bow Valley Parkway / Silverton Falls

Meet your guides early in the morning in Calgary • Following an introduction meeting, hop on your bikes for your first ride • Take in the most amazing panoramic views of (including many opportunities to see wildlife) from the Bow Valley Parkway • Refuel with a trailside picnic before a hike up to Silverton Falls • Tonight, dinner will be hosted by the Baker Creek Bistro • Spend the rest of the night settling into your comfortable accommodations for the next three nights • Overnight at Baker Creek Chalets (L, D)

Day 2: Moraine Lake / Consolation Lakes

Your adventure for today is a day-long hike over Sentinel Pass—considered to be one of the best hikes in Banff • Climb beyond the turquoise waters of Moraine Lake through larch tree groves and alpine meadows to where your lunch awaits • Your trip down the pass features outstanding views of Paradise Valley • Tonight’s dinner is at The Station • Overnight at Baker Creek Chalets (B, L, D)

Day 3: / Jasper National Park

This morning starts early so you can fully enjoy a drive on the scenic Icefield Parkway where you’ll see plenty of ice fields and glaciers • Upon reaching the border of Jasper National Park, you’ll receive crampons and hiking poles to help you hike Athabasca Glacier • The next few hours will be spent with a mountain guide who can tell you all about the glacier’s history and how it has helped shape the land • End the day back at the Baker Creek Chalets where you’ll enjoy some rest, relaxation and dinner • Overnight at Baker Creek Chalets (B, L, D)

Day 4: Kicking Horse River /

Get your fill at breakfast before we drive to the Kicking Horse River to tackle the exciting rapids • Lunch will be served on the side of the river where your guides will prepare a fresh picnic • In the afternoon, you have the opportunity to hike one of the neatest trails in the Canadian Rockies • The Lake Agnes Teahouse Trail, which includes stops at Lake Agnes and Lake Louise, runs through spruce and fir forests and offers incredible views of blue glacial lakes and waterfalls • Dinner is at your own leisure tonight in Banff where you’ll check into your home for the remaining two nights • Overnight at Banff Royal Canadian Lodge (B, L)

Day 5: Banff Springs / Minnewanka Lake

Spend the morning biking around the beautiful Banff Springs Golf Course which sits at the foot of the Canadian Rockies • Break for a delicious picnic prepared by your guides and then get on your bikes again to ride the Loop which takes you to Banff’s largest lake (Minnewanka) and Two Jack Lake • Notice the reflections of the mountains in the turquoise waters • Tonight’s farewell dinner will take place at the lodge’s Evergreen Restaurant • Overnight at Banff Royal Canadian Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 6: Johnson Lake / Calgary

Since we have time for one more amazing hike, we’ll shuttle to a nearby trailhead • Embrace these remaining moments of being surrounded by snowcapped-peaks and soak up a few last looks at the valley • After getting our fill of fresh air, we’ll shuttle back to Calgary for airport and hotel drop-offs • No overnight (B)

Discovery: Hike with a bird’s eye view from Sentinel Pass. Expand your mind as you learn about how the mountains were carved and shaped by glaciers. Spot as many different types of wildlife as you can while riding the Bow Valley Parkway; grizzly bears, elk and wolves are just some of the animals that frequent the area. In your cozy bed at your home away from home, recognize why Baker Creek Chalets received the Banff Heritage Tourism Award for authentic mountain lodging. Take in the views from the Lake Agnes Teahouse trail while your guides explain the path’s namesake and key features. Learn the ins and outs of glacier trekking as you strap on crampons to make your way up the icy surface of Athabasca Glacier. Visit one of Canada’s oldest and largest national parks, Jasper National Park, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. Find out why Lake Louise, Minnewanka Lake, and Moraine Lake sport a beautiful turquoise blue color. Come discover for yourself this place they call Wild Rose Country!

This family-owned and operated mountain resort is found in a serene wooded setting close to Baker Creek. The property consists of enchanting private chalets including lofts, 2-bedroom cabins and a Heritage Trapper’s Cabin. It also has lodge suites and for dining, the Baker Creek Bistro serves wholesome and rustic cuisine. There is no better base camp for exploring the nearby mountain lakes or simply kicking back and relaxing in some of the most famous scenery in North America.

Delta Banff Royal Canadian Lodge is conveniently located in the center of this mountain resort town, and is known for its Rundle Rock fireplace and collection of Canadian art. Each room is elegantly appointed with custom furniture and art inspired by Canada’s natural elements. Each bathroom is oversized and features a full-sized bathtub, shower and granite- topped vanity. Just outside the doors of the lodge you’ll find one of Canada’s most famous national parks as well as plenty of opportunities for memorable dining and shopping experiences.

Arrival and Departure Please plan on arriving at least one day prior to your trip departure. Day one of your itinerary starts at 8:00 or 8:20 am, depending on your hotel. Your trip ends with a drop-off at either the Calgary airport (1:00 pm) or your Calgary hotel (1:30 pm).
