WINTER 2016-17

Book Online www.thebrewhouse.net Box Office 01823 283244 THE STORY

Join Phileas Fogg on trains, Chinese junks, hot air balloons, even an elephant, as he tries to circumnavigate the world in 80 days. Can the intrepid explorer, aided by comic French valet 'Passepartout', succeed in their mission and get home in time for Christmas? Or will his expedition be thwarted by Big Game Hunter Captain Fix, the Nizam Cannibals, “mysterious” Mrs Chang or trigger-happy Jesse James? Journey with us through Parisian nightclubs to the Bombay Hilton and follow the cast as they traverse the Wild West and navigate the Atlantic. THE BOOK & THE MUSICAL

Adapted from the acclaimed novel by Jules Verne, this fresh new production, written and composed by Phil Willmott and Annemarie Thomas, is fit to burst with terrific songs, dance routines, circus acts, a smattering of romance, and plenty of audience participation. The whistle- stop adventure promises to be a whirlwind of a show, with a fantastic professional cast and talented community ensemble, beautiful scenery and funky “steampunk inspired” costumes.
