SGC Maths Quest 2: Bunk Beds

Many of you found Bunk Beds a little easier than Alice Down a Hole; probably because you may have been doing this type of logic problem since you were much younger.

The solution:

Ariana Grande and Harry Styles' bed is closest to the door.

DOOR Ariana or Harry Ariana or Harry

The colour of the blankets on the bottom bunks all begin with the same letter.

DOOR Ariana or Harry Ariana or Harry Black, burgundy, Black, burgundy, Black, burgundy, blue blue blue

The colour of 's blanket does not begin with the same letter as the beginning of his first name.

So Bruno mars does not have a black, burgundy or blue blanket and thus is not on the bottom bunk

DOOR Ariana or Harry Bruno Bruno Ariana or Harry Black, burgundy, Black, burgundy, Black, burgundy, blue blue blue

Ariana Grande's blanket colour begins with the same letter as her first name.

The only option is an aqua blanket. Ariana could be on the top or bottom bunk, but the aqua blanket is only on the top bunk

DOOR Ariana Bruno Bruno Aqua Harry Black, burgundy, Black, burgundy, Black, burgundy, blue blue blue

The blue blanket is under the aqua blanket.

DOOR Ariana Bruno Bruno Aqua Harry Blue Black, burgundy Black, burgundy

Cheryl Cole and like their lower bunks.

DOOR Ariana Bruno Bruno Aqua Harry Cheryl, Usher Cheryl, Usher Blue Black, burgundy Black, burgundy

Usher is in the middle bed.

DOOR Ariana Bruno Bruno Aqua Harry Usher Cheryl Blue Black, burgundy Black, burgundy

Taylor Swift does not share a bunk with Usher.

DOOR Ariana Bruno Taylor Aqua Harry Usher Cheryl Blue Black, burgundy Black, burgundy

The burgundy blanket is at the end of a row.

DOOR Ariana Bruno Taylor Aqua Harry Usher Cheryl Blue Black Burgundy

The yellow blanket is above the black blanket

DOOR Ariana Bruno Taylor Aqua Yellow Harry Usher Cheryl Blue Black Burgundy

Only the green blanket is left

DOOR Ariana Bruno Taylor Aqua Yellow Green Harry Usher Cheryl Blue Black Burgundy

A huge well done to those who took part and particularly to those who got the correct solution.
