Meeting Start:7.30

1. Apologies Schedule 12 of the Local Government Act 1972 requires a record be kept of the members present and that this record form part of the minutes of the meeting. Members who cannot attend a meeting should tender apologies to the Clerk as it is usual for the grounds upon which apologies are tendered also to be recorded. Under Section 85(1) of the Local Government Act 1972, members present must decide whether the reason(s) for a member’s absence are acceptable. Cllr Kelk and Cllr Bolton had sent apologies. In The chairs absence it was resolved that Cllr Thomas take the chair. 2. Disclosure of Pecuniary Interests Under the Parish Council’s Code of Conduct, Members must declare any pecuniary interests not previously disclosed. None to disclose 3. Public Forum There were no members of the public, however Mr Pease brought up a query. It was thought that NBC have agreed that homes being changed to multiple occupancy needed planning permission in . It was thought that this would already be covered by a planning policy and Far Cotton are more aware of it now that there is the possibility of Multiple occupancy dwellings with the University. Clerk to Contact Borough Councillors to ask what the current situation is and if it is different in Far Cotton. 4. To Consider a response to Northampton Borough Council’s Local Validation Requirements list review This is a list of items that are needed when completing a planning application, showing the different items for different types of planning applications. It was felt this was just an update of the list and it was not thought that anything was missing. It was proposed that there is no need to comment on this consultation. Resolved. 6. To Consider a response Northampton County Councils Consultation on the Northampton Northern Orbital Route and Northampton North-West Relief Road It was thought that the effects of this proposal would effect the Town Centre and , and have very little impact on Hardingstone. It was proposed that a response is sent advising that we support parish councils local to the works and would ask that the County Council listen to their concerns. Resolved. 7. To consider and approve letter to Andrea Leadsom regarding plans in South Local Plan for further development around Road. Draft letter had been circulated and all agreed that this was to be sent, copying South Northants Council planning and NBC planning. Resolved Meeting closed at 8.70pm
