Michael Vangelist Michael Vangelist of West Newbury, also known as Bing’s Dad, will be running his 7th consecutive Boston Marathon. Michael became motivated to run marathons after surviving a battle with cancer. Michael finds motivation to run by raising funds for charity. Monica Pessina Monica is running for a charity team associated with Boston Medical Center. BMC is associated with Boston University, where Monica has been on faculty for 14 years. Monica reports “BMC is an all-inclusive medical center, caring for many individuals; from privately insured to the homeless.
