Mr. Christie spoke of the changes that would take place with the new Abaco Club development under construc- tion. He reminded them that they had expe- rienced struggle and hardship but their lives would become easier with more opportuni- ties in the future. Also in attendance was the former Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Hubert Ingraham, who reminisced about his first trip to Chero- kee by boat. He reminded the community The Old School in Cherokee has been lovingly restored to become a functional asset to the community.
