She wears many titles…wife, mother, worship leader and songwriter. In 2013, after a decade of being in full-time ministry and on staff at her local church, Hope found herself in a season of transition as she focused on being a full-time mom. During this time, Hope and her family visited a small gathering of people in a basement and encountered the presence of God in a new way. “I had been “doing ministry” for so long that I had ignored so many parts of my heart and life that needed ministry. I was desperate for healing and a fresh encounter with God. That year of rest became the foundation for discovering a new way of living with Christ. Week after week I would enter God’s presence during worship and the word and experience deep emotional and mental healing that I had long thought was impossible.” This “gathering” would eventually become what is now The Belonging Co. church. After a few years, Hope found herself leading worship again and being part of the songwriting team at The Belonging Co. A renewed passion began to grow. “God really had to deconstruct so many of my paradigms about praise and worship during that season. For so many years, I lead from a place of needing approval, but as God began to heal my heart and mind, I began to lead worship from a place of humility, vulnerability and intimacy. Everything I do is now rooted in the belief that God truly wants us to live in freedom - from parenting, friendships, marriage, songwriting, leading - the goal is to live in freedom in every area of our lives and bring others in to the awareness that God wants to set them free too.” In 2020, Hope signed her first recording contract with Fair Trade Music Services. She released her first single, “Peace Be Still” in February 2020, followed by a full album, “Peace Be Still”. Hope also appears on both albums released by The Belonging Co., “All the Earth” and “Awe+Wonder”. You can find Hope’s music on all platforms. Hope has been married to the love of her life, David, for 14 years. They live in Nashville, TN with their two daughters Olivia and Brooklyn. PHIL WICKHAM Phil Wickham is, at his core, a humble and sincere artist who writes songs and worships God using the medium of music. It is with that brush that Phil Wickham paints images of a loving and creative God across the canvases of listeners’ hearts and minds. The evidence of this gift has been apparent on all of his critically acclaimed efforts: Phil Wickham (2006), Cannons (2007), Heaven & Earth (2009), Response (2011), The Ascension (2013) Children Of God (2016) and Living Hope (2018). His RIAA platinum-certified single “This Is Amazing Grace” gave Wickham his first career No. 1, holding the top spot on Billboard’s National Christian Audience Chart for 13 consecutive weeks. The honors continued as the single was named Billboard’s 2014 No. 1 Christian Airplay Song of the year and BMI’s 2015 Christian Song of the Year. In addition to its success at radio, the song has become a beloved anthem in the modern church, increasing Wickham’s recognition as a gifted artist and songwriter with a true heart of worship. CECE WINANS Winans has released a myriad of solo and collaborative albums that crossed genres and influenced generations of gospel and secular vocalists. Her mantel today holds a staggering 12 Grammy Awards, 23 Dove Awards and 15 Stellar Awards. She has been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and received stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Nashville Music City Walk of Fame. In addition to being named a Trailblazer of Soul by BMI and garnering multiple NAACP Image Awards, Soul Train Awards and ESSENCE Awards, this music pioneer continues to break through barriers. She has sold 17 million records world-wide, topping the gospel charts repeatedly while managing to cross over with smashes like “Count on Me,” her stunning duet with Whitney Houston, which sold two million copies and cracked the Top 10 on the Pop, R&B, and Adult Contemporary charts. She touched millions more with inspirational performances everywhere from singing before the Pope to The White House. DR. DAVID UTH David Uth has served as the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Orlando, Florida since 2005. Before moving to Florida, he pastored churches in Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas. David grew up in Arkansas as the son of a pastor, and at the age of 19 was ordained and began pastoring his first church. He graduated with a B.A. in Religion in 1979 from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas where he met his wife, the former Rachel Moore of El Dorado, Arkansas. David then received his M.Div and Ph.D. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas where he also taught New Testament for three years. Along with serving the churches and communities where he pastored, he has also been honored to serve as the President of the Florida Baptist Convention and Chairman of the International Mission Board of Trustees. David and Rachel have three grown children; Joshua, Hannah, and Andrew, who is married to Kayla, and now have a wonderful grandson, Sawyer Beau and granddaughter, Ivy Brooke. • 2018 APOSTOLIC PRAISE CHORUSBOOK Richard W. Smith
2018 APOSTOLIC PRAISE CHORUSBOOK The 2018 Apostolic Praise© Chorusbook combines a unique compilation of 130 choruses, written chiefly for those who have gone through the Apostolic Praise© series who wish to enlarge their repertoire of songs. It contains a wide variety of songs, from old standards such as “Wonderful Peace” to Gospel choruses such as “Saved” “Power” and “Breakthrough” to more contemporary songs such as “Jesus Messiah.” However, what makes this chorusbook different is the fact that the songs are not written with just the basic, easy, boring chords, as most lead sheets are. Instead, the songs have been totally rewritten with advanced, fullsounding chords, giving the musician that plays them a very professional sound. When the musician plays “O I Want To See Him” the Apostolic Praise© way, it won’t be with just the simple IIVV chords. Instead, it is going to have a variety of complex, beautifulsounding chords that will make the song sound more modern. Also included are some resources on how to transpose songs to different keys, as well as an explanation page for some of the unique symbols that this chorusbook uses. Richard W. One day an evangelist comes to your church and you have to play “Amazing Grace” for his wife, who is going to sing a solo that night. Unfortunately, she wants you to play it in the key of Ab and your church always sings it in F.

In desperation I turned to heaven And spoke Your name into the night. Then through the darkness, Your loving-kindness Tore through the shadows of my soul. The work is finished, the end is written. Jesus Christ, my living hope. Who could imagine so great a mercy? What heart could fathom such boundless grace? The God of ages stepped down from glory To wear my sin and bear my shame. The cross has spoken, I am forgiven. The King of kings calls me His own. Beautiful Savior, I’m Yours forever. Jesus Christ, my living hope. Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free! Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me! You have broken every chain, there’s salvation in Your name. Jesus Christ, my living hope! (repeat) Then came the morning that sealed the promise, Your buried body began to breathe. Out of the silence, the Roaring Lion Declared the grave has no claim on me. (repeat) Jesus, Yours is the victory! Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free! Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me! You have broken every chain, there’s salvation in Your name. Jesus Christ, my living hope! (repeat) Jesus Christ, my living hope! God, You are my living hope!
