34th Surajkund International Crafts Mela – Fair 2020 (Sponsoring of Artisan & Cultural Troupes of Foreign Countries).

The 34th edition of the “Surajkund International Crafts Mela (Fair)” will be held from 01st to 16th February 2020 at Surajkund, , (India). The Fair is jointly hosted by Union Ministries of Tourism, Textiles, Development Commissioner, Handlooms & Handicrats, External Affairs, Culture, ICCR and Haryana Tourism. The Fair showcases the finest traditions of handicrafts, handlooms, culture and cuisine from all parts of the country as well as foreign nations. The beautiful state of Himachal Pradesh and the enchanting Uzbekistan are respectively are the ‘Theme State’ and ‘Partner Nation' of the Surajkund International Crafts Mela, 2020.

Over the years, the Fair has come to occupy a place of pride and prominence on the tourist calendar. The past Fair has attracted footfall of more than 1.2 mn. 394 foreign participants from over 30 countries participated in the Fair last year.

This year, Foreign Countries can participate by sending their vibrant cultural troupes (consisting of 10-15 members) and 4-5 artisans / craftspersons who could showcase the heritage of their respective country. The Surajkund Mela (Fair) Authority will provide free boarding, lodging and transportation from Airport to the Fairgrounds during their stay in the Fair (excluding fare and any professional fees, if applicable).
