Kyle Ryan Argo Staff Writer On Saturday April 12, Kappa Sigma hosted the first annual District Day of Service. The Stockton chapter of Kappa Sigma played host to the Rutgers Uni- versity chapter in New Brunswick as well as Stevens Institute of Technology’s chapter, who joined their brothers to do some volunteer work. Sisters from Zeta Tau Alpha, Delta Zeta, and Delta Delta Delta also joined the Kappa Sigmas for their Day of Service. In total, over 130 Greeks from all over New Jersey partici- pated in the Day of Service. The event was spread over several different sites across the community. One group’s project was a clean-up on Stockton’s campus. Together they cleaned

where they cleaned up a local park on Martin Luther King Boulevard. The last group went to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission where they sorted out all of the different donations. The day ended with an all you can eat barbecue hosted by Stockton’s Kappa Sigma and Zeta Tau Alpha chapters with all of the proceeds being split between their philanthropies.
