West Liberty University senior Alex Falk has been named the 2013 Division II Bulletin Player of the Year. The West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletics Conference Player of the Year, Falk averaged 20.8 points for the Hilltop- pers and hit double-figures in 35 of 36 games. He surpassed 2,000 career points and put up four assists a game. In his career, Falk has led West Liberty to four consecutive WVIAC championships and three straight WVIAC and Atlantic Re- Alex Falk, West Liberty gion Tournament titles. Falk headlines the DIIB All-American team, where he was joined on the first team by Winona State’s Clayton Vette, Ali Haidar of Michigan Tech, Eric Jean-Guillaume of Franklin Pierce and Western Washington guard John Allen. Division II Bulletin has named a Player of the Year every season since the 1991-92 season.
