Even if a large part of your waste can now go into your new multi-compartment bin, you must not put all your waste into that bin. This Waste Sorting Guide will guide you through the different types of waste and sorting methods. By sorting and recycling your waste, you protect yourself and others from hazardous substances while reducing the consumption of valuable natural resources. Bulky waste is domestic waste that is too big for your usual bin collection. Bulky waste does not include construction and hazardous waste. Your waste collection subscription includes six collections of bulky waste per year and household with a limit of 10 packages per collection (each package must be small enough for one person to handle/carry). I this phase of development it does not seem motivated to repeat all arguments for reducing carbon monoxide sources. Late Paleolithic sites are not known at all, even if the climate provided good possibilities for making a living. The focus of the paper is on four sites in the area excavated until 1991. They are all inland sites. Karsefors lies by the river Lagan. It has thick cultural layers and the richest find material of the sites discussed. It was inhabited c. 8000 - 3500 BP. The stratigraphy of Ysby, Perstorp and Hästhagen consisted of thin find bearing layers between the topsoil and the underlying sand. They may all be roughly dated to c. 8500 - 8000 BP. All sites have varied tool kits, including microliths. The typological differences of Western Sweden and South Scandinavia is discussed in terms of in which area to put Southern Halland. It seems to share similarities whith both regions. It is probably known to most readers that there is a distinction between Tradition and Saga. Tradition has, or at least seems to have, to do with facts, usually designating some particular spot or region where the incident is said to have taken place, often even giving the names of actors, while the Saga is entirely free in its scope, equally as regards incident, and the time and place of its happening. Not infrequently the traditions of a people are founded upon actual historical occurrences, which, often repeated in the naive manner of the peasantry, become, finally, folk-lore. A great many are, however, drawn from ancient myths, which, in time, become clad in historical garb, and are located in some particular place. We already possess various collections of traditions drawn from the rich treasury of our peasantry, but up to the present there has been no attempt at a formulated compilation of Swedish folk-lore. As I now put into the hands of the public such a collection, I ought to state that I have thought it better to select the most typical of our traditions than to gather everything that I might in this line, much of which has already been written, and which would require a many times larger volume, and occasion a repetition of the same matter when occurring, as many do, in different localities. Instead, I have accompanied each tale with a historical and ethnographical note in which I have so stated if the tradition is found in different places.

    Detta gjorde vi 2017! Glimtar från arbetet i LRF:s kommungrupp i Laholm Vi arbetar för att företagen inom de gröna näringarna ska få de bästa möjliga förut- sättningarna för tillväxt, lönsamhet och attraktionskraft – i det hållbara samhället. En av våra viktigaste uppgifter är därför att bevaka och påverka den kommunala nä- ringspolitiken. Vi deltog i kommunens näringslivsträffar LRF:s kommungrupp deltar återkommande vid de luncher, frukostar och näringslivsdagar som arrangeras av Laholms kommun. Så också under 2017. Vi pratade vattenbrist med länsstyrelsen och kommunen Vattenbristen och bevattningsförbudet satte lantbruket i södra Halland i en svår situation i början av sommaren. LRF:s kommungrupper i Laholm och Halmstad bjöd därför in förtro- endevalda till dialogmöte, där det allvarliga läget diskuterades med länsstyrelsen och Laholmsbuktens VA. I brist på fiberförening fick LRF under sommaren ta emot många samtal från medlemmar som stördes i samband med fiberdragning. Kommungruppen tog sig an saken och arbetade tillsammans med fiberföretaget IP Only för att få ett bättre bemötande av kunderna, för att förtydliga innehållet i markavtalen och för att öka kvaliteten i grävningsarbetet. I november arrangerades en informationskväll om juridik vid fiberdragning. Cirka 70 med- lemmar kom till Ysby bygdegård för att lyssna på intrångsexpert Maria Nilsson från LRF Konsult i Malmö. Även Sven-Arne Thorstensson, chef för IP Onlys tekniska kontor, medver- kade. Vi startade samarbete med räddningstjänsten Räddningstjänsten och LRF:s kommungrupp i Laholm har inlett ett samarbete som innebär att lantbruket kan hjälpa till vid framför allt skogsbränder. På en träff i maj fick LRF nya kun- skaper om skogsbrandsbekämpning och räddnings- tjänsten fick veta vilka maskiner, gödseltunnor med mera som LRF:s medlemmar kan ställa upp med.

Many rural youth needs more skills and knowledge to start a project, enter a job market, develop their personal and professional path or access information and learn about possibilities they could benefit from. The overall aim of our project is to empower young people, youth workers, and volunteers who could tackle this problem with more innovative ways, methods, tools and ideas. The goal is to elaborate and implement a complex methodology that from one side engages and empowers youth from rural areas and from the other brings a tangible impact to the hosting communities. The identified methodology is based on the “Image Mapping” (www.imagemapping.org) project that has been in development by the Ukrainian partner DC Pangeya Ultima since 2015 and its activities have been carried out now in 8 rural communities in Ukraine and Lithuania. We plan to train youth workers and other youngsters interested in rural development in this methodology and therefore they will be able to replicate the activities in other contexts.

    HALLÅNDSK SJOFART I DANSKA ARKIV Av ALBERT SANDKLEF Den tidligere chef for Varbergs Museum, fil. dr. Albert Sandklef, har bl.a. gjort sig fortjent ved sine omfattende bidrag til Hallands historie. Her be­ handler han det interessante kapitel „bondesejlad• sen", dvs. søfart drevet som binæring af bønder. En righoldig kilde har kæmnerregnskaberne fra Ålborg i 1500- og især 1600-tallet været, idet de har re­ gistreret talrige søfarende bønder fra Nordhalland, som sejlede på Ålborg og her betalte bropenge. Disse lister, suppleret med regnskaberne fra Varbergs len, giver et godt begreb om bondesejladsen i de sidste tiår, da Halland endnu var en dansk provins. I ALDRE tid var Halland ett magert landskap. Man saknade nodiga redskap for drånering av sanka marker, och odlingen omfattade dår­ for enbart de hogt belågna, sjålvdrånerade morån- och rullstensåsarna. Dår var jordmånen fattig på både humus och mineralåmnen. Skorden blev mycket svag, vilket omvittnas från många olika hall, bl.a. av de båda kommitterade, som av landshøvding G. Tungel år 1687 utsågos att rannsaka jordagods i Halland. De båda voro lantmåtaren Johan Soderlingh och håradshovdingen Gerlindh, och de funno att jordens avkastning var betydligt såmre i Halland ån i de delar av mellersta Sverige som de tidigare stiftat bekantskap med. En av de allra såmsta socknarna når det galler jordens avkastning var Onsala i Fjåre hårad. Den svaga avkastningen av jordbruket i Halland gjorde det nod- våndigt for bbnderna att skaffa sig extra inkomster av binåringar. I sydligaste Halland hade bonderna i Hishult, Knåred och Veinge sedan gammalt idkat jårnhantering. Stållvis forekommande myrmalm 240 liksom ofta forekommande jårnockra, ofta kailad or, nytt jades som råvara.

    Vandringsstigar och motionsslingor i Laholms kommun Välkommen... att besöka Laholms kommuns vandringsstigar och motionsslingor. En hel del blir nog förvånade över att det finns så många markerade slingor i Laholms kommun. Några troligtvis helt okända även för dem som bor här. Det var en av anledningarna till att vi ville göra den här broschyren. Dessutom har det funnits en stor efterfrågan på en folder med samlad information om våra slingor. Vandringar i naturen har blivit alltmer populärt. Det är ett billigt fritidsnöje som alla generationer kan samlas kring och ha glädje av. Nuförtiden känner alla också till nyttan av att röra på sig. Dessutom är det ett sätt att uppleva och komma nära naturen, där vardagsstressen försvinner och naturens lugn griper tag i en. Det har varit en glädje att ha fått arbeta med denna broschyr och vandra på de olika slingorna. Jag upp- täckte snart, att trots att de flesta finns i skogsmiljö, är stigarna helt olika med egen atmosfär och själ. Vandringarna gjordes under våren och sommaren 2009. Den färgprakt av blommor och växter som naturen bjöd oss på, var helt hänförande. Varje vår när växtligheten vaknar till liv och bjuder oss på sin rikedom, förundras man av hur vackert det är i vår natur. För att inte tala om hösten med dess färger från mörkaste grönt till djupaste rött. Denna prakt är svår att föreställa sig en mörk och kall vinterdag när all växtlighet har gått till vila. Hallandsleden... är inte med i vår broschyr. Den börjar vid Skånele- den i Koarp på Hallandsås och sträcker sig 57 km genom Laholms kommun till Halmstadsgränsen.

Around the lake there is a lit‐up track. You also have bridges, diving‐towers, restrooms, grill facilities, tables, benches, swings and a place for garbage disposal. There is a handicap ramp to the bridge and out in the lake a swimming dock. There is parking close to the lake and life savers are available all year round. This phenomenon has also been observed in the Baltic Sea which create nuisance in many Baltic coastal communities when the macro algae of different species is washed ashore by wind and wave, which is known as “beach cast algae”. In recent years various Baltic projects has been commenced in order to utilize “beach cast algae” for energy production via anaerobic digestion technology. Harvesting beach cast macro algae for energy production not only give a renewable energy but also improve tourism and recreation, as well as largely contribute towards the marine ecosystem by reducing nutrient load. However, high concentration of heavy metal especially of cadmium in macro algae has limited the potential of anaerobic digestion since cadmium would limit the bio-fertilizer potential of the fermentation residue/digestate. Different heavy metal removal technique has been suggested so far but their potential on large scale application as well as the economic and environmental aspects of the removal techniques are unknown. The present thesis focuses on the west coast of Sweden and evaluate the possibility of combustion of beach cast macro algae in an already existing waste incineration plant. Furthermore, three different scenarios for energy extraction from beach cast macro algae are compared from energy balance perspective. The study was based on a case study, literature review and energy balance analysis.
