Out of all the new canon books I have read so far Rebel in the Ranks stands out as one of the more interesting, genuinely enjoyable stories that is also more stylistically consistent with the universe Lucas created than anything currently being published with perhaps the exception of the comics from Marvel. Almost everything the two teens do is to see what they can do to learn about Dhara's fate and maybe take down Lothal's Imperial influence from the inside.
