3.0 Domestic Sewage Management Plan

As per TMC Kundapura, works will be completed within 2 years after completion of land acquisition process. Karkala: TMC Karkala is having 1.2 MLD capacity oxidation pond for sewage No of Towns needing SM1d [Nos] 5 treatment which is not in operational condition and hence proposed to establish STPs new STP to treat the domestic sewage. TMC Karkala proposed to complete STP works by 18 months from now i.e., June 2021. Kaup: As per TMC Kaup, since kaup is a newly formed TMC a down time is needed for land aquisition to construct STP ,effort will be made to construct STP by September-2022. Saligrama: There is no STP and at present domestic sewage is being disposed through Septic Tank & Soak Pit at individual Household level. TP Saligrama proposed to complete STP works by June 2023.
