In addition to the Sherlock Holmes Museum itself, the reconstructed living room is located in the Sherlock Holmes Pub (10-11 Northumberland Street, Westminster, London WC2N 5DB, near Trafalgar Square and Charing Cross Station).

The pub was opened in 1957 in a building formerly occupied by the hotel "Northumberland Arms" (where, according to the story "The Hound of the Baskervilles", Sir Henry stayed). In one of the rooms on the second floor there was a museum room
