Instead, the scores for the subjects are based on 4 measures that focus specifically on the performance of academic disciplines, aggregated over 5 years (2012 to 2016). These are: 1. Reputation amongst fellow academics: Academics are asked to list 10 national and international universities they consider excellent for research in their field. 2. Reputation amongst employers: Employers are asked to list 10 national and 30 international universities they consider excellent for the recruitment of graduates.
