A leader is the one who can keep his team united, has foresight and can make strategic plans for his and his team’s success. A leader possesses a dynamic personality and positive attitude that will help him sail through the turbulent times. Keeping these traits in mind, a Leadership Training was organised for the associates of the company. Year 1 Vol 10 / Page 3 Learn to manage stress, before it makes your UnmanageableLifLifee When you put a frog in a pan full of water, he swims heartily and fearlessly, devoid of any pressure. Now you ignite the flames and let the temperature rise slowly. As the temperature increases, the frog is aloof as he is busy floating in the water, but when the water starts boiling, he cannot bear the heat and collapses. His lifeless body drowns in the boiling water of the pan. Stress has the same effect on us. When we persistently work hard for results, when failures and rejections bog us down, when pressure surrounds us from everywhere, even we human either fail or quit. Most of the people are stressed to earn a better living and rest are stressed to climb the ladder of success to reach to the top. In both situations, stress is an inevitable part of life. But, is it helping us get what deserve or is making our life cumbersome? Stress not only wreaks havoc on our nervous system or despairs our cognitive skills, in fact, it also adversely affects our body, relations with family and our social circle. So, before it engulfs you and alters your personality, take charge by following these simple steps: Dr. Ashok Bhaa Founder & Chairman I.M.C Year 1 Vol 10 / Page 4 Learn from failures: Resilience is a quality Balance work and workout: Research that can turn around every situation. When suggests that the best way to manage stress rejection or an unsuccessful venture makes is through physical exercise. Regular exercise you feel under confident and doubtful; don’t releases happy hormones which result in quit at that time. Rather bounce back and try reducing stress, negativity and mood again. Don’t be afraid of rejection or failure, it swings. Take out time from your busy is part of the learning process rather learn schedule for your body and go for a brisk from your mistakes and bounce back. walk, yoga session or hit the gym. It will not only keep you active but will also relax your Be positive: Optimism is like the sun that mind. can evaporate the clouds of negativity and failure. Negative thought or approach Physical and Mental Relaxation: Our mind towards work will only breed more needs to relax in order to produce results, so negativity leading to a suffocating work does our body. It is night and most important, sleep early. often observed that when associates talk to Remember the idiom, “Early to bed early to people about network marketing and face rise, makes the man healthy, wealthy and rejection, he also becomes negative and wise”. Give your mind and body a break from leaves the system. On the contrary, when work to relax and unwind. people discuss negative experiences, you Remember, the underlying cause of 80% of should share positive experiences and health problems is stress. When stress gets success stories. This will not only keep you accumulated in our body, it takes the form of stay positive but will change other’s physical illness and disrupts our system. So, if mentality as well. you want to live a long and healthy life, if you Make a to-do list: What do you want to want to make your dreams come true and if achieve this month? What is your business you want to be a role model for others, then strategy? It is said half of the work is first learn stress management. accomplished if properly planned. It will relieve you from stress and give time to execute. One of the major reasons for stress is “It’s Quality, not the quantity improper planning; it leads to delayed of life that matters.” execution and results, thus failure of the project. So, every month make a list of things to do to achieve your goal. Year 1 Vol 10 / Page 5 The Formula for SUCCESS Dream, Act and Achieve n this world, people can be divided into two groups: The Dreamers and The Creators. Dreamers Iare the ones with great visual skills and imagination. They imagine every luxury is in their reach, they are on top of the world and life is a vacation. But mind it; this is only in their dreams. It is said that “Daydreaming is like a mirage, you get tempted by something that isn’t real.” Daydreamers do not get anything, even though their imagination is impeccable, you know why? It is because they are procrastinators, and when the time is gone they regret and curse destiny for their shattered dreams. The second group of people is, ‘The Creator”. These are the set of people who are visionaries. They have a dream and they also move on to the second step which is “Action”. When a dream is fueled with a plan of action, it has the potential to come true. The creators neither daydream nor procrastinate rather they set up a goal and conceive a strategy to achieve that goal in the set time frame. So, if you want to lead a successful life, choose to be a creator not a daydreamer. After defining the two groups of people, you may wonder what should be done next. What are the steps that guarantee success? How can you make your dreams come true? Many people come to me and ask what my success formula is. Success is nothing but persistent efforts towards your goals. Every step you take on the journey to success is a Mr.Satyan Bhaa learning curve, not a speed breaker. So let’s Managing Director I.M.C breakdown the formula of success: Year 1 Vol 10 / Page 7 Dream it: Dreams are important; in fact, they are fuel to your brain. Only a man who dreams will put efforts to make them come true. A man who has no dreams is just surviving through life without any goal or mission in life. So dreams are constructive, they build your cognitive skills, your personality, and your life. But, as I said, it is just the first ingredient of the formula of success. We can only achieve what we can conceive, that is why humans are called creators. So, remember, our mind is the first place where our dreams get a life and then when we work towards it, it becomes our physical reality. Act upon it: Dreams won’t come true if you won’t put efforts. Action is the must that is why humans are called builders. When our mind creates something, it requires effort to make it your reality. So, if you have a dream to start your own business, then start meeting people, network with them and help them fulfill their dreams; it will directly help you to establish your business. Often, while we are working hard in the right direction, we face failures and rejection. Don’t feel dejected and lose hope, on the contrary, remember it’s just a learning curve. My success mantra is, “You never fail on the road to success, your just figure out 99 different ways of not getting the result and 1 right way of getting the result.” This approach keeps me going. Achieve it: When you put consistent efforts in the right direction when you are focused on your journey and undeterred by failures; what do you achieve? You achieve your goal. A dream that was once incepted in your mind has now become part of your life. You are living it, sharing it and inspiring others with your success stories. That’s how legends are made. Friends, we often think that whatever happens happens by God's will. We attribute our failures and regrets to destiny. But, what is destiny? Isn’t it a choice we make every moment? Isn’t it one right decision and one small step towards your dream? Yes, destiny is what your mind can create and your hands can build. So, wake up and start doing something to make your dreams come true because you are the creator of your destiny. Year 1 Vol 10 / Page 8 Leadership Training Program: Where Leaders Build Leaders oday’s world is smart and progressive Leadership Training Program is one such and comes with its own share of endeavor that aims to inculcate in the Tobstacles.
