Background to the Programme Our Summer Internship Programme is designed to give students considering a career in law an opportunity to develop real practical legal skills and to gain an insight into the realities of working as a solicitor in a global law firm.

This is often the first step on the Walkers Trainee Solicitor Programme, with a number of our former interns proceeding to start their formal solicitor training with us.
