In 1979, the Borenstein Family... Lou, Lovey, Mark, Neal, and Wendy of Queens, New York ventured west to Phoenix, Arizona and opened Chompie’s Bagel Factory in a strip mall at 32nd Street and Shea.

With the support of our valued customers, locals, and visitors, Chompie’s has grown to include multiple New York Style Deli, Restaurant, Bagel, and Bakery locations throughout the Valley of the Sun.
