Badminton The school badminton team will begin practices this month with tournaments scheduled each weekend in March. Any students in grades 6-9 are encouraged to participate and may sign up for the tournaments that fit their schedule. If you require any further information please contact Mr. Nicoll or Mr. Black.

St. Patrick’s Day (Green Day) Help us celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the luck of the Irish by dressing in green on March 17th!

School Improvement Day Please note that there is no school for students on Friday, March 21st as this is a school improvement day for teachers to work together at the school. Enjoy a great 3 day weekend!

Wizard of Oz We are excited to offer the opportunity for grade 4-8 students to attend the Wizard of Oz play being presented by at the Esplanade in . Students aged 15-18 will be performing for our students and others. The play focuses on themes of courage, confidenc and caring which are valuable traits that we hope to build in all Burdett students. Please contact Mr. Nicoll if you have any questions or concerns.

Report Cards- Term 2 Report Cards will be sent home on Friday March, 28th with Parent- teach night scheduled for Wednesday, April 2nd from 4:00-7:00.

Marvelous Munch Puppet Theatre- April 1st! Students in grades K-5 will enjoy a great puppet presentation based on stories from Robert Munch on Tuesday, April 1st.
