NEW INSTALLMENT OF PARA SPORT SECTOR! PROCEDURES TO CONTRAST AND CONTAIN THE VIRUS COVID-19 ADDRESSED TO ATHLETES, SPECIALISTS, JUDGES, REFEREES AND ACCOMPAIGNING PEOPLE AT THE WORLD SPORTS GAMES 2021 Rev. 0 - 14th of October 2020

1. Entry into Italy is not allowed in case of positives cases, symptoms and close contacts

 positive diagnosis for COVID-19 in the 14 days before travelling;

 showing even a single symptom of COVID-19 in the 8 days before travelling:

o Fever ≥ 37,5°C and chills

o Dry cough

o Breathing difficulties

o Loss of taste or smell

o Nasal congestion

o Sore throat

o Diarrhea (mostly in children)

 close contact (e.g. less than 2 meters for more than 15 minutes) with a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in the 14 days before travelling; PROCEDURES TO CONTRAST AND CONTAIN THE VIRUS COVID-19

2. To access the Event, different procedures and protocols on the basis of the Country of origins

San Marino and Vatican City: (List A, Annex 20 DPCM 13 October, 2020)  no limitations

EU COUNTRIES (except Romania, which is part of List C, and with specific provisions for Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the , Spain), SCHENGEN, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (with specific provisions below), Andorra, Principality of Monaco (List B, Annex 20 DPCM 13 October, 2020)  Travelling to/from EU countries without the need for a specific motivation, therefore also for TOURISM purposes, is allowed, without the obligation of isolation upon return to Italy. The obligation to fill in a self- declaration remains. PROCEDURES TO CONTRAST AND CONTAIN THE VIRUS COVID-19

2. To access the Event, different procedures and protocols on the basis of the Country of origins Rest of the world (List C D E F, Annex 20 DPCM 13 October, 2020)

- EMILIOC will ask to the General Directory of the Public Health System to ask the exemption from the quarantine requirement of all particpants at the major multisport events at international level, - The General Directory of the Public Health System will deliver the guide lines to be followed by the WSG particpants coming from other Countires. - Emilioc will deliver, 15 days before the arrival in Italy, the form to access Italy and the guidelines to be followedduring the journey. - The traveller shall do the covid-19 test within 72 hours from the arrival in Italy to acccess Italy; the traveller shall bring the result of the test, stating the health condition. Only people with the negative result can enter Italy to access the Games. PROCEDURES TO CONTRAST AND CONTAIN THE VIRUS COVID-19 3. Protect yourself and others

 Maintain at least 1 meter security distance between yourself and others both in open and closed places.

 Implement preventive hygienic measures:

o regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.

o avoid direct contact with other people such as hugging and shaking hands;

o follow good respiratory hygiene: cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze;

o avoid sharing bottles and glasses;

o avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth;

o avoid taking antiviral drugs and antibiotics without medical prescription.

 Avoid crowded places and ban of gathering.

 The measurement of body temperature will be implemented in all the access points of the sports facilities and accommodation.

 It is possible to download the IMMUNI app on your mobile phone. If used correctly, the app sends an alert in case of a possible contact with a positive person, and further information.

 We recommend you to keep a travel diary with visited places, people met and relative dates. PROCEDURES TO CONTRAST AND CONTAIN THE VIRUS COVID-19

4. What to do if symptoms compatible with COVID-19 appear while you are in Italy  Seek medical help. Immediately inform the Department of Prevention of the Local Health Agency: ask the staff of the hotel/accommodation facility to help you to contact the health services;

 If you develop severe symptoms, call the national emergency number 112

 Avoid visiting the Hospital Emergency Room

 Wear immediately a medical mask

 Inform the reception of your health condition, so that they can take all prevention measures to protect the staff and other guests

 If possible, move to a single room with dedicated bathroom

 Self-isolate and remain in your room with the door closed but ensuring adequate natural ventilation

 Respect the ban to go around, following the instructions of the health staff

 Avoid contact with other tourists and with the staff of the hotel/accommodation facility

 Wash your hands with soap and water and implement the other hygienic measures

 Follow good respiratory hygiene and dispose tissues properly putting them after use in double bags

 Be available at the daily calls of the health staff in charge of monitoring your health conditions during the health surveillance

 Avoid taking drugs without medical prescription. we hope to welcome you in Emilia Romagna. It is just the beginning!
