Travel by Air: - Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport (BWI), is 8 miles (13 km) from the conference hotel. The airport is serviced by Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, American, Boutique Air, British Airways, Condor, Contour, Delta, Jet Blue, Southern Airways, Southwest, Spirit, Sunwing, United, Virgin, WOW, and EXtra.

Though Reagan National Airport (DCA) and Dulles (IAD) are only about an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and thirty minutes from the hotel, public transportation is complicated and van service is expensive. For these reasons, we highly recommend flying into BWI.

Shuttle Service: Airport shuttles depart from BWI Zone 4. Super Shuttle can be booked online; current rates are approximately $15-25 for a shared or non-stop ride from BWI to the hotel.

Taxi Service: Taxi stands are located outside of the baggage claim area on the Lower Level of the BWI Airport terminal near doors 5 and 13. BWI Marshall Airport taxicabs are prohibited from charging flat rates; fares from the airport to Baltimore Inner Harbor are approximately $35. App-based ride services: App-based ride services (Uber, Lyft) are available between BWI Marshall Airport and passenger-specified locations. App-based ride services pick up and drop off passengers at the terminal curbs on the Departures/Ticketing Level between doors 9 and 11. Fare to is approximately $20-25.

Public Transportation: MTA Light Rail service is available to downtown Baltimore from BWI. The fare is $1.60 each way and travel time is approximately 30 minutes. The BWI Marshall Airport Light Rail Station is located immediately outside the lower level of the terminal building, adjacent to Concourse E. Depart at the Lexington Market stop, which is approximately 5 blocks from the Radisson Hotel (turn right when departing the train). Note: Though cheap and convenient, this option is only recommended during daylight hours (or before 7pm); the Lexington Market station is a popular destination, but located just beyond the edge of the central business district.

Rental Cars: Car rental companies operating from BWI Marshall Airport can be found here. BWI’s one- stop rental car station is located at Stoney Run Road and New Ridge Road. Free shuttle service carries customers to and from the airport approximately every ten minutes. Passengers arriving on flights should take the free shuttle from the lower level terminal for a ten-minute ride to the new facility. When returning a vehicle, look for highway directional signs to the facility. The Car Rental Facility is located at: 7432 New Ridge Rd. Hanover, MD 21076. If you wish to rent a car after arriving at the conference hotel, the Radisson has a Budget/Avis rental counter in the lobby.

Greyhound: The Baltimore Greyhound bus station is located south of downtown at 2110 Haines St, approximately 20 minutes by bus to the conference hotel.

Amtrak: Penn Station, Baltimore’s downtown Amtrak railroad station, is located at 1500 North Charles Street in the Mount Vernon neighborhood, just north of the conference hotel. Travel time from Penn Station to the conference hotel is approximately 15 minutes by bus. Penn Station is part of Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor route. Amtrak’s Express also offers train service between Boston, New Haven, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC.

Parking: Radisson Hotel Baltimore Downtown-Inner Harbor offers premium valet services at its garage with a height clearance of 6'2". The ARSC Conference valet rate is $25/night. In addition to the hotel, there are also a number of nearby self-parking garages including Arrow and Park-It St. Paul Plaza. Other lots can be located via websites such as Parking Panda and Baltimore Best Parking.

Downtown Baltimore Transportation

Within two blocks of the hotel you can hop on the Charm City Circulator, a fleet of free shuttles that cover three routes providing access to Inner Harbor attractions as well as Johns Hopkins, Federal Hill, Fort McHenry and Fells Point, which has numerous pubs and record stores. You can also download rider tools, including bus tracking apps and mobile alerts.
