 Hats must be worn until at least 30th April. If a student forgets their hat then they will be asked to sit in a designated shaded area. We do not provide spare hats as students need to be responsible for remembering their hats and hat sharing is not allowed due to the possibility of head lice being spread.  Drinks: Please make sure your child has a large water bottle (good idea to partly freeze it.) A cooler block in lunches is advisable.  KEEP THIS DATE FREE: WEDNESDAY 15TH FEBRUARY for a “Meet and Greet,” family night from 5- 6.pm. Classrooms will be open for students to show families around and then some games will be run. A sausage sizzle will be available (numbers next week.) Please see if grandparents are free as they might like to come along too! A flyer will be sent home next week.

Attached with this newsletter is a “Hopes and Dreams,” sheet which you may like to fill out about your child for your child’s class teacher to see. You can share the hopes you have for your child along with giving us an insight into their strengths and interests as well as any challenges or fears they may have. This sheet can be returned directly to your child’s teacher. This will be another nice piece of information for us to use to build a whole picture of your child.

Thanks everyone for setting up your children so well for a great start back at school! We have had a lovely day!!! Please remember to give me a call or pop in and see me if you have any queries about anything at all. I am also on car park duty each afternoon so please come and have a chat!

Have an amazing week!

Cheers

Welcome to 2017 Parent Club

It takes many people for a Parent Club to work!!!

Parent Club run a variety of events throughout the School year for students where we rely on parent helpers for these to be a success:

Canteen Lunch Days Prep Brekkie Mother’s Day /Father’s Day Stalls School Concert entry/raffles School Disco End of Year Pool Party Easter Raffle Fundraising events

Do I have to attend monthly meetings to be part of Parent Club?? NO We understand parents are working, have appointments & are busy so we do not expect parents to attend meetings. If you can make it to a meeting it’s a bonus but definitely not a requirement to be part of parent club.

Do I have to help at every event? NO We do need parent helpers for all these activities to be a success; your assistance is appreciated whether it’s once a year or on a regular basis, every bit helps!

Benefits of Parent Club  Children love to have their parents at school helping out  Assist with raising money for your child’s school  Support your child’s school environment  Meet new people & have some fun along way  It’s rewarding!
