Tropical Hurricane Beta is Here

Written by Lance Winslow

Beta looks as if it is going nowhere fast as it went from tropical depression number 26 to Tropical Storm Beta. Now Beta will be a Hurricane and is forming in a very similar way as did, simply not moving but ramping up in speed. We remember all too well when Hurricane Wilma was a simple tropical depression number 24 and then a tropical storm and then she became a Hurricane. Within 24-hours she became tightly wound with only a 2-mile wide and became the most powerful Hurricane in western world weather record surpassing all others.

Beta is a little further South and a little closer to shore, be meteorologists know that during early Tropical Hurricane formations that indeed they experience Hurricane Drift and if she drifts East or Northeastward she will clear the land and head into a very dangerous scenario. Most weather models do not have Hurricane Beta coming to the United States, but how often have we heard that in the last five Tropical Season Years. In fact it maybe too hard to tell yet, but one thing is for certain, don't count your chickens before they hatch as they might have bird flu and don't ever trust a Hurricane. We have learned to be very weary of small Hurricanes which want to grow, as they all start the same way and it was not long ago we were facing , Rita and Wilma all could be classified as Super Storms or Super "cat five" Hurricanes. For now we wait and hope Hurricane Beta does not make a Beeline for the bay. Think on this.
