Alberto Salazar. He will also share how modern medical science and technology are fundamentally changing the way we think about death. I highly recommend it to runners and anyone interested in running. The narrative is framed in the 14 minutes in which Salazar was clinically dead after his shocking heart attack in Overall, it was an enjoyable book. But miraculously, Salazar was back at the Nike campus coaching his runners just nine days later. I would encourage any runner to read this book Talking points include: - Fidel Castro really! His life or should I say death story itself is quite fascinating in its own right, and the mere telling of it simply with the facts would have been engaging enough. Lists with This Book. Get A Copy. As his running career wound down, he gained employment with Nike, the renowned athletic company, which had been his sponsor. But that's another story. Read in less than 24 hours. Apr 17, John Spiller rated it liked it. For the first time for general readers, the Dalai Lama presents a comprehensive overview of the most important teaching of Buddhism.
