October, 2001: was awarded a Socio-Health Research Development Grant by the Health Services and Research Commission for a project titled, “Culture, Moral Development, Philosophy, and Religion: A Cross-cultural Study of Health Care Decision-Making” which will investigate the effects of cultural and moral beliefs on health decision-making. Co-recipients of this grant are Dr. D. Cruise Malloy, Dr. T. Hadjistavropoulos, Dr. B. Krishnan, and Dr. J. Muthalagan.
