Chirenko Margarita National Technical University of « Igor Sikorsky of Ukraine » Influence of Scythian culture on modern Ukrainian everyday life Problem statement: Scythian culture (VII century BC - III century BC) is one of the brightest during the Iron Age. The were skilled craftsmen in applied art. In their work, they combined insults and silhouettes that had not only aesthetic but also symbolic significance [1]. The novelty of the theme is that the influence of the Scythians on the contemporary everyday life was little investigated. Relevance of the topic: the study reveals more deeply the factors that influence the formation of modern . Purpose: to outline the main spheres of the influence of Scythian culture on the modern day-to-day life of . Source base: materials relating to the spread of Scythian elements in various fields. The research is based on methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, retrospective, comparative-historical. Conclusions Modern artists and designers, to whom the culture of the ancient people was influenced to a certain extent, has borrowed many traditions from the Scythian masters. So, elements of Scythian culture in clothes were used by designer Olesya Telizhenko. This is a "animal style" in ornamentation [2]. Professional artists from southern Ukraine inherited the tradition of Scythian jewel- ers in contemporary enamel art, which for the first time used enamel on the territory of Ukraine [3]. Scythian knifes are an unusual souvenir, which can be purchased at a con- temporary fair.

The tattoo in the style of "ethics" is also a peculiar echo of the cultures of ancestors, which previously could denote achievements and hu- man status, and be an adornment [4]. The jewelery art of the ancient peoples was known for the use of natural materials only: natural metals, bones, minerals, plants and stones. The legacy of the tradition of jewelry masters in contemporary art is the manufacture of ethnic costume jewelry [1; 5].

Perhaps, due to the fact that the relevant directions were devel- oped in the Scythians themselves, and also quite well researched and popularized to- day.
