Biohabitats seeks a qualified individual to join our growing team of restoration ecologists, water resource engineers, scientists and landscape architects to work collaboratively on wetland, river, riparian and coastal estuary restoration, invasive species management, stormwater best management practices and natural wastewater treatment systems projects.

Primary responsibilities include business development and proposal preparation, leading ecological restoration design activities, seeking regulatory approvals and cultivating client relationships. Specific responsibilities include providing engineering analysis of existing and proposed site conditions, preparing design and construction documents (plans specifications, and cost estimates), permitting, bidding support and construction administration services.

Position Requirements »»5-10 years of experience in engineering and/or water resource projects, including: river, wetland, riparian and/or coastal/estuary restoration (field experience preferred) »»PE license (ability to attain Oregon and licensure) »»B.S. or MS engineering degree »»Project management including proposal preparation, budgeting, scheduling, supervising project team, coordinating deliverables and exceeding client expectations

Experience in the following areas is highly desirable: »»CAD, GIS and/or Civil 3D software, »»Hydrology software, »»Habitat structure and fish passage design, »»Knowledge of fisheries issues, »»Construction administration and construction observation activities, and »»Business development.
