As I remember the times that won't happen again I suddenly realize that those times are at an end. But it's nice to remember what fun we all had Things always went on through good and through bad. A fine group of preservationists!
126 127 In the Fall of 1982 an initial pro posal was made to relocate two 19th century barns to the Bristol camp HISTORIC and to convert them into a Perform ing Arts Center. An important benefit to th1 project, other than just the creation PRE SERVATION of new space, was that the very act of moving and converting the build ings could be intergrated into the learning activities of students in the Historic Preservation major of the college. Thus, beginning in Febru ary of 1983, students have been actively involved in learningas they dismantled, moved, and rebuilt the structures on the cam pus. I \\ I ' The facility has received extensive print and television coverage and the local and state newspapers have been known to feature photos of it. The story of the new Roger Wil liams College Performing Arts Cen ter is the story of growth and devel opment. A great deal of hard work has gone into the project and it will soon be done to be appreciated by all.

To the Class of 1985: Many long hours of work, fighting, laughter and tears went into the creation of this book. I never thought I would see the day it was in print. Well class, here it is! A scrapbook of memories that you made, memories that I hope you will treasure Mike Issac forever. Nicole I want to give special thanks to Karen Lopes who stayed with me the last month to finish the book. I couldn't have done it without you! Thank you Ed Fox for listening to me when I was a crazy lady, and Cris, thanks for not taking all my screaming seriously. To Paul, thanks for putting up with all the long hours and my "stress attacks", I love you. I will miss this officemore than many of you realize: the chaos, the questions, the complaints, the jokes, the headaches, the hysteria, and the excitement from an excellent layout or photo. I'll miss the friends I've made, but they are all treasures no one will ever take away. I have now had my say, soon it will be someone else's turn. Best of Luck Class of 1985! Knock 'em Dead!
