Celebrating Our Dedicated Supporters Neuhaus NewsDECEMBER 2017 Celebrating Our Dedicated Supporters More than 70 guests joined Neuhaus at this year’s annual reading circle as we showed our appreciation for our supporters. The event, held at the Briar Club, featured brief remarks from Neuhaus President & CEO Dr. Tracy Weeden and Development Committee Co-Chair Medora Boone, who has a son with dyslexia. The impact of Neuhaus’ professional learning was highlighted in a video which featured touching, personal stories of five students with dyslexia in Lufkin Independent School District. Many long-time supporters brought several guests to introduce them to the mission and services of Neuhaus which are conducted throughout Texas and nationally. The Neuhaus Education Center Reading Circle is a giving society of individuals who give $1,000 or more cumulatively in a calendar year. Donors automatically become members once they have contributed $1,000 or more within the timeframe.
