Pedestrians, cyclists and motorists need to get used to a new vehicle, which is fast and quiet, weighs 50 tons and cannot steer clear of obstacles. 02 June 2017 On the entire test route from the University Hospital to Nørreport, the trams will drive on its own track in the middle of the road, but they cross several others roads and pe- destrian crossings on the way. On the test route along the harbor front between Contact person Nørreport and DOKK1, the trams even share the space with pedestrians and cyclists. The test-drives are performed in order to secure that everything runs perfect, when Aarhus light rail system opens on Saturday September 23rd.
