Practical Information

Venue The 2017 Members’ Forum will take place at Gamle Logen located at Grev Wedels plass 2, N-0151 Oslo, Norway.

Arrival and transport Participants are kindly requested to make their own international and local travel arrangements.

From Gardermoen Airport (OSL) The venue is about 50 km from Oslo’s Gardermoen Airport.

Train The journey takes about 20 minutes from the airport to Oslo Central Station. There is about 700 meters walk from the train station to the venue.

The following train services are available: Airport Express Train (Flytoget): trains leave every 10 minutes with the exception of early mornings and late evenings, and on weekends and during school holidays. A ticket costs NOK 180. Tickets must be purchased before entering the train – using the Flytoget app, a ticket machine at the airport, or a ticket office (NOK 10/20 service charge per ticket).

NSB – Norwegian State Railways: trains leave approximately every 30 minutes. A ticket costs NOK 92. Tickets may be purchased online, with the NSB app, or from a ticket machine at the airport.

Bus Flybussen departs every 20 minutes everyday, starting from the bus station just outside the arrivals hall. The duration of the journey is approximately 40-50 min. For further information call 177 (or +47 40 00 11 66) in Oslo or +47 815 00 176 from outside of Oslo.

From Sandefjord Airport, Torp (TRF) The venue is about 120 km from the Sandefjord airport.

Train There is a train from Torp Sandefjord Lufthavn to Oslo. The station is located between Stokke and Sandefjord. The journey takes about 1 hour 45 minutes, and a ticket costs NOK 266. There is a shuttle bus service between the airport and the train station, which is included in the train ticket. The train usually departs once every hour.

Bus The Torp Express bus service corresponds with most international flights to/from the airport. Buses arrive at the Oslo Bussterminal (approximately 2 hours travel).

Taxi A taxi information desk in the arrivals hall provides information about fixed rates and available taxis, with passengers having the option of choosing the cheapest available company.

Public Transport The website for public transport in Oslo is https://ruter.no/en.

Pre-event focus group (EQUIP project) Participants of the ENQA Members’ Forum are invited to participate in a pre-event focus group, an activity arranged within the scope of the EQUIP project. The focus group will verify and further consolidate evidence collected through previous project activities about implementation challenges with the ESG 2015 and aims to share good practice and discuss the proposed approaches to solving these challenges. Participation is limited to 20-25 individuals who have extensive experience working with the ESG 2015 (depending on the popularity of the event, participation may be further limited to one representative per agency). Participants who would like to attend are kindly requested to indicate this in the “additional information” field during registration and await confirmation.

The focus group will take place at the University of Oslo ( Campus, Helga Engs hus, Sem Sælands vei 7, 0371 OSLO) from 12:30-18:30 on 3 May and continue at 9:00 to 12:15 on 4 May.

Participants of the focus group are requested to organise their own transport to/from the University of Oslo. From the city centre, participants may take the metro (called the T-bane, see network map above) , lines 4 or 5 in the direction of /Storo, to Blindern. A single ticket costs 33 kr (approximately €3.70), and a 24-hour pass is 90 kr (approximately €10.20).

Pre-event workshop (NOKUT) The host of the ENQA Members’ Forum, NOKUT, will offer a pre-event workshop from 15:00-19:00 at the Gamle Logen on 3 May. More details about this will be forthcoming. Participants who would like to attend are kindly requested to indicate this in the “additional information” field during registration and await confirmation.

On-site registration On-site registration will take place at the Gamle Logen, on the ground floor, starting from 12:15 on 4 May. Participants are kindly requested to arrive no later than 12:45 for registration.

Dinner The event dinner, generously provided by NOKUT, will take place at Stratos (Youngstorget 2a, 0181 Oslo, Norway) at 19:00 on 4 May 2017.
