The total online registrations were 1140, parents currently present in the whatsapp groups are 815, total active parents in the Whatsapp Group are 756 i.e. who have read the message timely (this result is based on the ‘Info’ feature available in a whats-app group). In terms of % parents present in the groups till date (19.11.2020): 71.5% of total registration, Total left out: 28.5%, Current Parents in the Group: 815, Active parents in group (who have read the message): 66.3% (based on total Registration), Active parents in group (who read the message): 92.7% (based on current parents in the whats-app groups), Inactive parents in group (who don’t read the message): 7.23%. CHAPTER 1 – PROJECT SUMMARY 2020 @Copyright SSSSO All Rights Reserved Page 8 SRI SATHYA SAI NATIONAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME FOR SELF TRANSFORMATION The foundation of Bal Vikas has been laid by bhagwan himself with the sole purpose of bringing an intrinsic transformation within each child. The Bal Vikas guru encourage the children to follow the path of self-enquiry and self-discovery and helping them to practice the basic human values viz; Sathya (truth), Dharma (Righteousness), Shanti (Peace), Prema (Love) and Ahimsa (Non-Violence). Due to the various restrictions imposed by the Government, it became quite difficult to conduct the regular balvikas classes during the current situation of Global Pandemic. So, with the sole purpose of inculcating human values within children, we, as a state/ NLP team came up with a technology friendly solution of conducting a program which focuses on helping parents to raise up their children with the teachings of balvikas classes. This program was named as “Anand ki Sanskarshala”. The idea was to align around 1000 families (majorly focusing on Non – Sai families) with Balvikas during pandemic times. It was the collective effort of state team which includes NLP Participants, State President, State Vice President, State Education Coordinator, State Youth Coordinator, State IT coordinator and various other office bearers in conducting and maintaining the entire project. It started with the registration of 1000 families, who have at least one child of age between 4-10 years, using google forms from all over the state. The entire state was divided into 5 zones and each zone consists of 08-12 districts. The NLP participants were made the zonal coordinators who lead their respective zones. Two whats-app groups were formed for each zone in which one was for gents and other for ladies. The content of the entire program was designed by our State Education Coordinator. We send around 2-3 activities per week on groups for the parents to perform with their children. Also, short stories and videos were shared, and beautiful lessons were taught with them. Every Sunday a LIVE session was also conducted where different guest speakers were invited to share their experiences with us, and parents can ask their relevant doubts from them and have satisfying answers. We received an overwhelming response from many families about the program. The parents share the pictures of the activities like sketching, painting and crafting that their children perform, in the group. A feedback form was also shared weekly to track the feedback of the week’s activity and what content they wish to have in the coming days. The program made the parents realize the importance of balvikas for their children and the impact it has on their overall growth. 2020 @Copyright SSSSO All Rights Reserved Page 9 SRI SATHYA SAI
