Confirmation Parents Meeting: A meeting for all parents with children for Confirmation in both of our Prima- ry Schools will take place on Monday 18th Nov. at 8pm in Quin/Dangan School Hall. The talk will be given by Mr. Dan O'Connell, Lecturer in Mary Immaculate Teacher Training College. Enrolment for the Confirmation Candidates will take place next weekend of Nov.16/17.

Speakers & Web Cam: Both the new speakers & Web Cam have been installed. St. Mary's Church, Quin is now live on the World Wide Web. The new speakers were installed for a price of €1,500 and the Web Cam installed at a price of €3,809. Annual running cost of the Web Cam will be costing on average €1,470. Any house hold or business wishing to contribute toward the cost of these two projects is greatly appreciated. The Parish Council wishes to acknowledge the receipt of two anonymous donations of €300 & €150 thus far. If you have put extra in your weekly blue envelope we thank you for your generosity.

The annual Armistice Day Ecumenical Commemoration Service to honour the Clare War Dead of the Great War 1914 to 1918 will be held in the Cathedral of SS Peter & Paul, Ennis on Thursday 14th Novem- ber at 8pm. The Ennis Brass Band will be in attendance. The wreath laying service will be held at the WW1 Memorial opposite Glór Theatre on Sunday 17th November at 2pm. All are invited to attend

Clare Archaeological and Historical Society: ‘Liscannor, the Pope’s Parish’ - a talk by Martina McCarthy in the Old Ground Hotel, Ennis on Tuesday 12th November at 8pm. Martina will cover seafarers, ship- wrecks, a once-thriving industry, and how Liscannor came to be known as ’The Pope’s Parish’. Lecture is free to members and €5 for non-members. Music, Song & Dance Concert in Inagh Hall, on the 23rd November @ 7:30pm organised by Rebecca Griffin() in order to raise much needed funds for HOPE's 60+ Projects for Street and Slum Children in Kolkata. As part of the HOPE School Immersion Programme Rebecca will be travelling to Kolkata next March. Your support would be much appreciated.
