Warm ups

Movements: move around an area in different ways. Ask your children to come up with different ideas/types of movement.

Animals: move around an area as different types of animals. Ask your children for different animals to try.

Statues: move around an area have to make a statue of whatever sport is shouted out by an adult.

High five: move around an area high fiving each other. Change it to low fives. Then try high and low straight after each other.

Traditional Games Ball Games What time is it Mr Wolf: a person is Mr Wolf who Clap Catch: throw a ball in the air clap once and stands at one end of the garden. Cone Games

Dishes & Domes: in an area have 2 sets of cones, one scattered around the right way up the other set scattered around upside down. Tennis Ball Skills

Tennis: in pairs use their hands as a tennis racket and play the ball back and forth.

Reaction: In pairs, one drops a tennis ball or an object and the other has to catch it before it lands on the floor.

Ten Pin Bowling

Use plastic cups as the pins and a small ball or Memory Game a rolled up pair of socks for the bowling ball.
