Graeme Dingle Foundation STARS Graduation! The STARS 2018 graduation was held on Wednesday in the Mana College School hall. There was a great turnout from our mentors, Yr 9s and their whanau. In attendance were VIPs including Mayor Mike Tana, ex-All Black Captain, Graham Mourie, as well as Porirua City Councillor, Mike Duncan. Each Learning Advisory (LA) group performed either a skit, dance, music, song, magic, or speeches that were full of surprises and lots of laughter. All mentors and Yr9s received a certificate of graduation, whilst a select few received special awards for outstanding contributions or attitudes throughout the programme. This year was full of multiple highlights for many involved - either from camp, the amazing race or community service project. Mana College and the Graeme Dingle Foundation have developed a strong relationship this year through STARS, which will continue to grow for years to come to the benefit the kids attending Mana College.
