Jetstar will launch a new route between Narita and Shonai on 1 August,2019! First LCC Service to Tohoku from Narita Airport

Jetstar Japan has announced the launch of a new destination from Narita Airport to Shonai in Japan's Tohoku region on 1 August 2019. From Narita Airport, Jetstar Japan currently operates to 4 overseas cities (, Taipei, Manila and Shanghai) and 13 cities in Japan (, (Kansai), Takamatsu, Matsuyama, Kochi, , Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, Naha and Miyako (Shimoji Shima)). The Shonai area is located on the Japan Sea side of Yamagata prefecture with a vast expanse of natural beauty including mountains ranges featuring Three Mountains of Dewa and Mt. Chokai. Tourists flock to the region all year round for trekking from spring through autumn and skiing in the winter. River rafting down the Mogami River and enjoying the view of the natural splendor from the boat in particular attracts vast numbers of tourists. Visitors should not miss the local gourmet delicacies such as Dongarajiru, a soup cooked with whole cod and picking cherries of which the area is the top producer in the nation. With this new route, Jetstar Japan now flies to 24 airports in 23 cities in Japan. Narita Airport's network of destinations continues to growth bigger and better.
