Our last 5 weeks as Mayor and Mayoress encompasses the variety of events that we have had the privilege to aend and represent Epsom and Ewell as the Borough’s First Cizen.

We have presented cerficates at • ECRA Duck Race on the Hogsmill River • Police Cadets Awards Ceremony at Guildford University • Young Enterprise Student Company of the Year Showcase event at Epsom College • The Mayor’s Young Volunteer Awards – a new iniave that I hope will connue • Round the Borough Bike event in Horton Country Park We have opened • Ewell Grove Primary School • Adam Donald’s Memorabilia Display at Bourne Hall Museum • RBL Outreach Venture launched at the Comrades Club • Trim Trail in the children’s playground in Shadbolt Park • Rebranded Priory Court home • Employment Fair in the Rainbow Centre We have aended • Dyscovers 25th Anniversary Tea at Woodlands Park Hotel • Epsom and Ewell Refugee Network “Far from the Home I Love” concert at St Marns Church • Epsom Police Cadet’s Aestaon at Guildford University • Elmbridge Civic Recepon at Oatlands Park Hotel • Surrey Heath Mayors Charity Ball at The Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst • Epsom Police Cadets meeng at Epsom and Ewell • Epsom Common AGM at Christchurch hall as their patron • BANOS “Bad Girls” at Adrian Mann Theatre, NESCOT • Epsom Male Voice Choir concert at the Epsom Playhouse • St. John’s Church, Stoneleigh’s 80th Anniversary • Annual Fesval at Sri Raja Rajeswary Temple in Stoneleigh • Happy Glaze Ceramics 1st birthday party in Waterloo Road We have hosted the Aspire student company from NESCOT at the Town Hall to celebrate their victory and move to the next round of the compeon (picture). Our Charity Commiee ran the Mayors Charity Ball at the RAC, raising thousands of pounds for our charies. To end our fantasc year the Mayor was ‘weighed out’ at Epsom Racecourse where the new Mayor, Councillor John Becke was ‘weighed in’. John, I hope your year is as good as ours has been.
