1 Participate in event/program sponsored by or on On November 8, 2019 our Operation Manager behalf of an educational institution relating to participated in a Career Navigator at South careers in broadcasting Central College. Local high school students were encouraged to attend to learn about careers in a variety of fields and participate in question and answer sessions throughout the day. Our Operations Manager talked about career opportunities in radio and led a group discussion during four different sessions during the course of the day. 300 Students are signed up. There are several different presentation days the next after November 8th is November 22nd. There are also sessions in 1st and 2nd quarter of 2020.

2 Participate in Scholarship Program relating to On May 17, 2019 our Market sponsored a broadcast careers scholarship program (25th year) called Scholar Dollars, which awards four $500 scholarships to local students planning to attend college and major in communications, marketing, or broadcasting. From February through April 2019, Owatonna High School guidance office collected applications for the scholarships. In May, our Director of Sales worked with the School’s guidance office to review and select scholarship recipients. On May 17, 2019, we hosted a breakfast during which our Brand Manager presented the four scholarships to the selected candidates. This program is continued for this school year and will be awarded again in May 2020.

Brand Managers spoke with attendees about career opportunities in broadcasting and job openings within the Market. Those expressing interest were given job descriptions and applications. Market participants included our DOS, On Air and Brand Managers

4 Participate in event/program sponsored by or on On April 6, 2019 our stations participated in behalf of a Community organization relating to the Northfield Home and Garden Show. Our careers in broadcasting representatives spoke with attendees about career opportunities in broadcasting and job openings at our booth. Those expressing interest were given job descriptions and applications. Market participants included the On Air and Brand Managers.
