Pre-Internship Sessions

Note: For employers that do co-ops, we can alter the schedule so that students will be available to complete your co-op.

Responsibilities for Employers Hosting Interns/Co-ops: • Provide opportunity in major field of study • Designate one internship/co-op supervisor to provide ongoing supervision and mentoring • Establish and communicate clear goals and expectations via a discussion about the learning agreement • Provide a workspace • Provide a thorough orientation • Complete a final evaluation • Sign off on timesheets • Participate in a visit (usually for semester internships/co-ops) or a phone call with a faculty member
