Career Description:

Overall Responsibilty

The Manager, Sales Operations is responsible for leading the planning, ongoing administration, training, and oversight of American Well’s Salesforce.com platform, overseeing the content of all sales materials, as well as assisting with and other analyses as needed.

Core Job Duties

Sales Content Management:  Manage SalesForce database housing key sales content (pitch decks, proposals, pricing, contract templates, etc.)  Ensure materials are up-to-date and accessible to the sales force  Participate in updating content from time to time

Analytical Support:  Provide analytical support on tasks such as pricing analysis, competitive research, customer profiling, etc.  Work with Finance to develop an accurate sales forecast

Planning:  Lead the configuration and ongoing administration of SalesForce.com  Oversee report design, management, and  Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes as they related to the database  Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the database to support additional business processes or functions

Administration:  Manage the Salesforce.com platform / database for all organization users  Create and manage custom objects, fields, and formulas  Develop and maintain custom reports  Develop and maintain dashboards  Audit, uncover and resolve data integrity issues

 Perform database de-duping and cleanup to maintain high-levels of data quality and integrity  Recommend best practices

Training and Support:  Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users  Monitor user adoption rates and respond as needed (additional training sessions, communication, modifications, or other resources) to improve  Develop training plans, materials, and documentation for database users, keep materials up-to-date, and coordinate new user and ongoing training sessions  Deliver training and communication to business users  Develop and communicate a schedule for future database releases/enhancements

Qualifications  Excellent project management skills  Minimum of four years of experience as a Salesforce.com Administrator in support of Sales and  Proficient in data manipulation (Excel, Access, FileMaker Pro)  Strong overall technical background  Excellent communication skills  Bachelor’s degree

Required Skills:

 Ability to administer Salesforce.com  Data manipulation and cleaning  Strong documentation and training skills  Interface with staff developing strategy as technical advisor  Report and dashboard design  Excel modeling and analysis
